v8.0.141 Beta – AURORA 8.0

This update contains core updates and major upgrades to the ZenAI engine including:

  1. Ability to identify date & time
    • ZenAI can now tell what date & time a message was sent or last sent. Given that Chat Memory and Keep Conversations is enabled.
  2. Ability to remember major events
    • Our latest engine can now store and process conversations up to 816,000 tokens for Pro Plan and up to 1.12 million tokens for Business Plan.
  3. Memory recall setup
    • ZenAI can now remember important information about you. Depending on how a conversation was initiated, Zen will store your information locally on your device.
    • You can also force initiate a memory update for ZenAI by including the hint word “Remember this” on your chat.
  4. Up to 1 million token for training data and conversations
    • Your notepad can be used to train ZenAI depending on the information you wish to get. By holding down the Notepad icon, all content on your Notepad will be uploaded to ZenAI’s memory and used for reference whenever you ask questions regarding it.
  5. Smarter logic and understanding as conversations get longer
    • Compared to previous generations of ZenAI, the Aurora engine, thanks to its massive context window, ZenAI is now smarter and better at logic processing.
  6. Optimised Custom Instructions and Persona for Business Users
    • Users under the Business Plan can now customise how ZenAI behaves.
    • This feature is also expected to arrive for Pro Plan in the coming weeks.

Known Bugs & Issues

  1. In Business Plan users, customising ZenAI’s persona may trigger a crash should the persona prompt contain explicit words or behaviour.
  2. Repeated open & closing of the ZenAI app may disable Keep Conversations and wipe ZenAI’s local chat memory.
    • A temporary solution was implemented by backing up your conversation through the ZenAI Console.
    • In the console, enter appdata backup /test to test for errors before running the memory backup. Should the console show OK, enter appdata backup /run to start the backup service.

      Note: Your backup is still stored locally. If you uninstall or clear the app’s data, all data including your backups will be lost permanently.
    • To restore your backup, enter appdata recov /run.
  3. Your account profile picture may be black or empty.

    • Pro and Business Plan users now has a context window of up to 80,000 tokens for longer conversation and more training data.
  2. Smarter Notepad Copilot integration
    • You can now co-write with ZenAI Copilot on Notepad. Free for all types of plan.
  3. Notepad file can now be attached to conversations for references
    • You can now attach your Notepad to your ZenAI conversation. Just press and hold the notepad icon.
  4. PRO subscription is now free for all students in select institutions
    • We’ve partnered with multi universities and institutions across the globe to promote AI in education.
